At LOCK5 we design and deliver bespoke solutions for interiors and exteriors of temporary event structures.  Quite often, we find ourselves with materials and fabrics from major projects and events that could have a second lease of life and are too valuable to throw away.

As sustainability leaders, we see this as a great opportunity to reduce our carbon footprint, help others and contribute to the sustainability of our precious environment.

With our focus to reduce, reuse and recycle, LOCK5 have been proud to donate these leftover resources to organisations who can make great use of them instead of sending them to landfill.

LOCK5 regularly donate wood offcuts to the Ascot Shed community workshop where the skillful members recycle the wood by transforming it into bird boxes, benches and other delightful projects!

Excess paint is donated to local theatre company, Chesil Theatre, to use in their many productions. Leftover or retired fabric is also donated to local theatre companies.

As well as donating our excess and retired stock, we are always searching for more ways to reduce our carbon footprint.  We are currently investigating a new energy efficient factory log burner that will run on wood offcuts, helping to reduce our energy dependency, reduce heating costs and further reduce waste.

It is extremely important to us at LOCK5 that we have an active part in ensuring the livelihood and safety of our planet and future generations. We are fully dedicated to becoming a more sustainable company and are constantly exploring additional ways to become more environmentally friendly. We encourage all businesses out there to do the same, together we can make a difference.
